Wrap your hair in spring:
Wonder what to do with your long and sometime frizzy tangled hair?
We have just the trick! Here are the most popular hairstyles for this spring.
1. Wideswept Updo
As seen in the Michael Kors show, this simple look won’t take long to do and will have you looking effortlessly chic. All you need is a one-inch curling iron and a dusting of Osis Dust It Mattifying Powder will give you this easy breezy look.
2. Mixed Texture
The master of the “wet head” straight out of the shower on the go in finally in. Center part your hair or slick it back in any way you want. As seen on Ferragamo’s runway. Try redken forceful 23 super strength finishing spray for this hairstyle.
3. Old World Braids
Love braiding your hair as much as E does, try these funky styled braids when you want to look styled but not work to hard on your hair.
You can make all different sorts of braids: french braid, milk maid braid, crown braid, and fish tail braids. To make the braid seen above, weave diffused curls into thick skeins, tugging out tendrils around the face…or in more basic terms, make thick braids with larger sections and tug out some pieces around your face for a less defined braid. Nicole Miller and Rebecca Minkoff’s shows pulled off these braids by pinning them around their heads in crown shapes.
4. Gold details
It is all about adding a little bit of sparkle and shine to your already gorgeous hair.
Add some dimension and add gold cuffs to your ponytails, gold petaled clips to your braids or up do’s, or even a gold headband. Find a similar barrette like the one above on Colette.
5. Ornate Ponytails
Ponytails and headbands are back in. Similar to Rodarte’s runway looks, you can try creatures of the wind, where you take a huge chunk of hair out in the front before gathering the rest at the nape. Or even make a low pony leaving one one-inch section on either side of before placing a wide headband on top. To finish wrap the reserved section around the hair tie.
6. Flowers in your hair
Bring spring into your hair right into the flowery brightness of spring. Flower crowns, flower clips, and in Zac Posen’s show he uses Kerastase Paris Powder Bluff to give the flower pins a nice hold in his delicate floral crown up do’s. Dolce &Gabbana as seen above shows flower crowns wrapped and twined into their up do, making a fairy detailed look for everyday use.
Have a little try for yourself for this spring.
